May 18, 2007 · I havent used a/c in years so i just wanted to try turning it on and the light on the button doesn't come on anymore. To tell the a/c is on. I turned it on high thinking maybe the light is burnt out, but nothing checked the compressor to see if maybe spinning regardless of the light and nope.nothing. I've checked the fuses and there still good. This car is a 89 isuzu imark. That was a month ago. Today is the first time I’ve started it since then and it appears the AC compressor has seized. That pulley is not spinning at all. The belt was slipping over it and burning up. I pulled the belt and can’t get the AC compressor pulley to turn at all. Can anyone think of anything shy of pulling this goddamn compressor?
